Applying for a grant
The Organization’s Contact should be the chief executive of the organization.
The Project Budget should also indicate both revenues and expenses.
If your request is for general operating support, then you need only submit the Organizational Budget.
The Organizational Budget should be the operating budget for your current fiscal year. It should reflect both revenues and expenses.
The Proposal Contact should be the person within your organization who will serve as our initial contact for follow-up related to the application.
If your Organizational Budget and/or Project Budget does not insert properly into our on-line application format, please mail hard copies along with the other required attachments. If you do so, please indicate this in the insert box.
The Project Description section constitutes the primary narrative of your application. As such, we expect it to be the lengthiest part of the application. We require sufficient detail for us to understand the who, what, where, when, why and how of the service for which you seek funding.
The Statement of Community Need should include relevant national and state data; however we seek as much locally generated data as possible. These data should relate directly to the service you provide.
If you apply using a Fiscal Agent please include a letter of commitment from the sponsoring agency, a copy of their most recent audit, and a copy of their IRS determination letter along with the other required hard-copy attachments.
