Health & Social Services

The Nord Family Foundation seeks to have an impact on the quality of people's lives, through support of projects and organizations that provide opportunities for families and individuals throughout the life span. Grants have been made to address issues of early childhood care and education, promote positive youth development, increase access to a variety of health and social services, and support the needs of senior adults.

There are no strict priorities within the health and social services program area.  Rather, the Foundation seeks to address a broad range of community needs, reflective of the guiding principles of our mission, "... to build community through support of projects that bring opportunity to the disadvantaged, strengthen the bond of families and improve the quality of people's lives."
